everyone loves these, right? keep track of your character's friends, lovers, even those nasty enemies. also in here is where all of the wanted ads are housed. so if you need someone to make your character's brother, post a classified here!

there is life outside of hogwarts castle, oh my! on the grounds you'll find the black lake, the groundskeeper's hut, the forbidden forest, the whomping willow, the greenhouses, the quidditch pitch, and the courtyards.

ahh, don't you just love that musty smell of the dungeons? the dungeons and sub-levels are most commonly known for housing the slytherin common room and dormitories, but you can also find the potions classroom, the potions professor's office, the potion stores and cupboard, the kitchens, the hufflepuff common room and dormitories, and the chamber of secrets down here.

the ground floor is home to the entrance hall, the great hall, the caretaker's office, the muggle studies professor's office, the herbology professor's office, and a vacant classroom.

now, if you continue your way up the stairs (although watch the staircases - they have a nasty habit of moving on you), you'll find the defense against the dark arts classroom, the history of magic classroom, the muggle studies classroom, and the hospital wing.

still moving on up! on the second floor we have moaning myrtle's bathroom, the defense against the dark arts professor's office, and the charms classroom.

ah, the third floor, a place that you'll see miss hermione granger frequent. why's that? well, the library's located here, for one. also on this floor is the transfiguration classroom, the arithmancy classroom, the ancient runes classroom, and the third floor corridor.

on the fourth floor is the arithmancy professor's office, a vacant classroom, the staff lounge, and the transfiguration professor's office.

still moving up, up, up! the fifth floor doesn't house much, although it does contain the prefect's bathroom, the astronomy professor's office, and a rather infamous broom closet, if you catch my drift.

you won't find many people roaming around on the sixth floor - it simply contain's the boy's washroom, the girl's washroom, and the head boy and girl's dormitory.

almost to the top! you'll see a lot of red and gold up here, as the seventh floor houses the entrance to gryffindor tower, along with the entrance to the north tower, the charms professor's office, and the gargoyle statue.

at last, the tip-top of hogwarts castle, the towers! there's the astronomy tower, the headmaster's office, the north tower, the gryffindor common room and dormitories, the owlery, and the ravenclaw common room and dormitories.

the room of requirement, one of our favorite places in the castle. if you seek a certain place for a certain purpose, the room of requirement will reveal itself to you, set for what you need.

a village not too far from hogwarts, hogsmeade has several shops and the like for the students to visit on weekends. some places include the three broomsticks, honeydukes, and more.

diagon alley is the place to shop for all back-to-school supplies, as well as for other things for those who have graduated. places include flourish & blotts, gringotts, ollivander's, and many more.

once sirius' place of residence, number twelve grimmauld place has become the headquarters of the order of the phoenix as well as somewhat of a safe haven for harry.

the home of the riddles, the potters, and several others, godric's hollow has become a place frequented by the trio in their horcrux hunt. you never know when they'll show up here again.

the ministry of magic, a bit like the government headquarters in the muggle world. inside, the wizards and witches attempt to keep everything running smoothly.

an elegant although ominous estate, malfoy manor is protected by wards that only grant access to those of the malfoy family, unless granted special permission.

unfortunately, sometimes people go inactive or don't finish a thread and just leave it sitting there. well, if that's the case, such threads/posts will be moved here. if one of your posts gets moved here accidentally, notify the admin and it will be moved back for you.

we all need a place just to let loose and talk about ... well, anything and everything. talk about movies, ask for a graphic to be made for you, whatever. just abide by the site rules and you'll be okay.
